Pacific Ethanol Stockton, LLC - Administration/Maintenance Building

Port of Stockton, California

Lyles Mechanical Co. (LMC) managed the construction of this two story office, maintenance and control center building as a part of a $62,000,000 contract for Pacific Ethanol Inc. The two story building totals 11,500 sqft and was constructed using a CMU exterior shell with a metal deck/rigid insulation/single ply roof and metal stud framing for the interior offices & lab. The mechanical system consists of five roof top air handling units with 16 VAV zones served by a single boiler and six industrial exhaust fans that serve the labaoratory, maintenance shop and offices. This project was built in conjunction with the rest of the plant and was finished two months before the plant went into operation, allowing the facilities management to move into the new facilities prior to the plant start-up.
